North Lakhimpur is situated in the eastern parts of India in the state of Assam. This district experiences a dry and hot summer season when compared to the other parts of Assam, highest temperature is experienced during the South-West Monsoon season along with abundant rains and highly humid atmosphere through out the year. Although the climate is pleasant throughout the year best time to visit North Lakhimpur is between the months of October to April.
